Paradox II
The windows determine the look, the pattern of the house. They make facades out of walls (lat. facies: countenance).
Entire surfaces are turned inside out. Windows offer an image of what may go on behind the panes. Even when they're shut tight or reflect the light.
Whatever they may represent, in the end windows need a frame.
